Huge crowds gathered at Chick-fil-A restaurants around Brazos County in support of Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day.
Chick-fil-A parking lots were packed and drive thru lines wrapped around the building at several locations during the lunch hour. The line was so long at the chain's location on Texas Ave. that College Station Police responded to block traffic at one of the entrances.
Some customers waited more than an hour for food. Other customers drove to multiple locations in search of shorter lines.
On Friday, same-sex couples plan to stage a kiss-in at Chick-fil-A restaurants around the U.S.
