As the number of hungry grows in the Brazos Valley, so does the need for space for the Brazos Valley Food Bank.

The food bank is in the midst of a capital campaign, "Because Hunger Won't Wait," to raise $2.5 million to build an addition that would increase its storage.

Monday night a dinner was held at the Hilton in College Station as part of that campaign. The event featured San Antonio photographer Michael Nye.

Nye has spent five years documenting the faces and voices of hunger.

His photographs are on display at the Arts Council of the Brazos Valley through July 25.
