The search continues for a man who's accused of fleeing the scene after rolling over his own pickup in Brazos County.
The accident happened around 5:30 Saturday afternoon in the 7100 block of F-M 1179 east of Bryan near the Stone Creek Farms subdivision.
Firefighters and a DPS Trooper on scene say the driver of a Ford F 250 pickup lost control in the single vehicle accident and then fled out of the upside down truck.
Troopers tell us the man may have been intoxicated, but they do not believe he was hurt.
"We received a call for a major accident here on Highway 1179 and as the volunteer department does we responded. Come to find out that the driver of this vehicle was not here anymore," said David Thomas, a firefighter with Brazos County Precinct 3 Volunteer Fire Department.
No further description was available for the driver other than it being a Hispanic male.
