College Station officials are trying to detour drivers from a flooded residential road in College Station.

Some residents said they could possibly canoe down their street because the water was so high.

Cain Road between Holleman Drive and Wellborn Road is currently being monitored because of flooding.

The city's public works department says the road has not been shut down because it's a residential area.

However, they do advise drivers to be cautious and avoid Cain Road if possible.
