The woman killed in that crash has been identified as 81 year old Johnnie Dozier of Bryan.

The two vehicle accident shut down southbound Highway 6 for hours.

The wreck happened around 5 p.m. near the exit ramp for Texas Avenue.

Bryan police say Dozier was driving a blue Buick the wrong way, heading north on the southbound side of highway 6.

She crashed head on with a Nissan Altima.

The driver of the Altima, a pregnant woman, was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan with non life threatening injures but police did tell us that she was in surgery.
