Four people are recovering in the hospital after their car crashed into a ditch and caught fire.
The crash happened just after 10:00 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Highway 195 and FM 2670 in Killeen, near the community of Ding Dong.
Police say two men and two women were inside a car traveling east on FM 2670 when the car lost control, crashed into a ditch, and then caught fire.
One occupant saved the other three occupants by pulling them from the burning vehicle.
A female unconscious occupant was flown to Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple with non-life threatening injuries.
The other three occupants were taken by ambulance to Metroplex Hospital in Killeen with non-life threatening injuries.
The roadway was closed for a short time, but was reopened just after 11:00 p.m.
