An early morning wreck in College Station has authorities there looking for one of the people involved.
Around 12:20 a.m. Monday, police found a car fully engulfed in flames in the 1400 block of Highway 6 near the Harvey Road exit. The fire was put out successfully.
Investigators believe the car, a 2006 blue Chevy Impala, was northbound when it hit the rear of a tractor trailer, severely damaging the car's engine The car's driver reportedly fled north on foot.
The people in the tractor trailer were not injured.
The condition of the car's driver is unknown, and CSPD investigators are trying to locate that person. If you have any information, contact them at (979) 764-3600.
