Fireball Lights Up Sky Over Brazos Valley

Numerous people witnessed a fireball, likely a meteor, streaking across the sky Monday night, similar to one seen Saturday night across Texas and other nearby states.

One person told News 3 she saw the orange ball of fire with a tail fly across the sky around 8:20 Monday evening.

Stacy Rowse of College Station says she saw it go from the southeast part of sky to the southwest.

Many other witnesses posted similar accounts of the sighting on the KBTX Media Facebook page.
