A fire in Bryan consumed part of a house on McAshan Street late Thursday morning.
Firefighters were called to the 900 block of McAshan around 11:20AM.
News 3 has learned that the fire started in the front room of the home, and it quickly spread to other sections of the home.
Fortunately, Bryan firefighters had the fire put out within about ten minutes.
Three residents who normally live there were not at home.
Investigators are looking for a cause.
Lots of smoke and water damage was done to the house.
BTU was called in during the fire to cut utilities to help firefighters battle the fire safely.
