Firefighters Contain College Station Apartment Fire

An air conditioning unit caught fire at the Cambridge Student Apartments on University Oaks Blvd Saturday, according to College Station Fire Officials.

College Station and Bryan Firefighters arrived at the Cambridge Student Apartments shortly after 12 PM Saturday. Firefighters evacuated the building as a precaution while they determined the severity of the fire.

The fire was located near the back of the structure. College Station police blocked traffic on Dominik Dr. while firefighters contained the fire.

No one was injured as a result of the fire, according to College Station Fire Officials.

No apartment units were affected by the fire, according to Cambridge Apartment Management.
