Sunday marks the tenth anniversary of the attack on New York City on September 11, 2001.

Nearly 3000 people died when two of four hijacked jetliners crashed into the World Trade Center's Twin Towers.

As the country watched the aftermath of the horrific attack on television, groups around the nation and here in the Brazos Valley wanted to help.

One Texas A&M University organization reached out by asking those who bleed maroon to display their red, white and blue.

The idea they had was to sell T-Shirts to raise money for the families of those who died in the September 11, 2001, attacks, but the help of Kenny Lawson and his staff at CC Creations.

With Lawson and his company onboard, their vision of filling Kyle Field with red, white and blue would soon be a reality. For over a week, the company produced thousands of shirts that were quickly purchased and the students' fundraiser was a huge success.
