BRYAN, Texas Four people were arrested Friday in Bryan and College Station accused of disciplining a nine-year-old girl by holding her head underwater in a bathtub.
The girl's mother Shauna Burns, father Adrian Robinson, grandmother Jaqueline Robinson and her roommate Larry Boyd have all been charged with child endangerment.
The incident allegedly happened in mid-December at the grandmother's apartment on Cole Street in Bryan.
Police say three of the suspects admitted to disciplining the child for bad behavior at school by forcing her head underwater in a bathtub "baptismal style" as a punishment.
Child Protective Services and Bryan Police are investigating.
All four arrested are out of jail on $5,000 bond.
