Four Shot In Central Texas Walmart Parking Lot

CEDAR PARK, Texas (AP) — Police say a suspect is in custody after four people were shot during an altercation in a Central Texas Walmart parking lot.

Cedar Park Police Capt. Mike Harmon says authorities responded to the shooting about 4:30 a.m. Sunday and took the suspect into custody. He says the four people who were shot were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say 18-year-old Soloman Onwukaife has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Harmon said he did not have any attorney information for Onwukaife, who remained hospitalized after being injured in the altercation.

Police say more charges may be filed.

Harmon says no Walmart employees or customers were injured.

Cedar Park is located about 20 miles north of Austin.
