The Blinn College Nursing Program and the Brazos County Health Department will be conducting a Pandemic Influenza exercise on November 15, 2012 at Central Baptist Church from 4-6pm.

On this day an assembly line will be set up in the parking lot of Central Baptist church in order for people to drive thru and receive their free Flu shot without getting out of their vehicles.

The vaccine will only be available for people the age of 18 and older. The goal of the exercise is to prepare for and to manage an outbreak of Pandemic Influenza in Brazos County.

Agencies from both the cities of Bryan and College Station will be involved, as well as other county agencies. The Emergency Operations Center will be activated, and the Health and Medical Operations Center will be activated at the Brazos County Health Department.
