Friendly Competition Creates Lots of Innovation Among Aggie Students

It was a weekend of friendly competition and lots of innovation at
Texas A&M University.

Students from the Dwight Look College of Engineering, together with the College of Medical Sciences collaborated for the inaugural "Aggies Invent" event.

Eight teams had 48 hours to come up with wearable medical monitoring devices for organizations like NASA and Texas Children's hospital using 3-D printers, lasers, and other " state of the art" technology.

Students wrapped up the competition today. Each design was judged.... and will be passed on to companies for review and potentially to be used.
