BRYAN The pipes and drums band for the Bryan Fire Department held a fundraiser today at Murphy's Law in downtown Bryan.

The band’s members are all local firefighters. The department is raising money to send them to the Fallen Firefighter Memorial in Colorado Springs this September.

The two Bryan Firefighters who died in the Knights of Columbus Hall Fire, Lt. Greg Pickard and Lt. Eric Wallace, will be honored at this year's memorial.

"Once we get there, we'll meet up with 2-300 pipes and drummers from all over the US and Canada to honor our fallen brothers, in addition to other fallen brothers and sisters who have died in the line of duty this past year,” said Todd Mack with the Bryan Fire Department.

If you weren't able to make it to the fundraiser today, you can still drop off donations to Bryan Fire Station One located in downtown Bryan.
