A woman is recovering at a hospital Thursday after being thrown from a car during a rollover accident.
DPS Troopers say it happened just before 3pm on County Road 115 in Grimes County. They say the driver, Cesar Ramirez of Bedias was speeding along a curve, over-corrected, and rolled the car off the road. His wife, Tanya Ramirez was ejected from the car and air lifted to St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan.
Cesar Ramirez wasn't seriously hurt and actually drove the vehicle away from the scene. DPS says neither of the two occupants were wearing seat belts.
