It's been 10 days since the body of Sergeant Wade Wilson came home to Leona. The 22-year old Marine was killed during combat in Afghanistan. Thousands turned out to welcome him home and pay their respects.

He's among the many who will be remembered Memorial Day. People all across the country taking time to remember those who have died serving and protecting our country.

A small group in College Station paid tribute to Sergeant Wilson by pushing themselves the extra mile.

It's a workout with a heavier meaning. Each rep, every step, in honor of one man.

"We're just doing a commemorative workout to honor Sergeant Wade Wilson, who gave his life for our country in Afghanistan," says BoomFit owner Charlie Lima.

The routine isn't an easy one.

You start off by running 800 meters. When you get back, you do 20 "thrusters." A maneuver like a thrust, but with a bar weighing either 135 or 90 pounds.

You do all that three more times.
It's challenging, but nothing, they say like, what those serving must face.

"I just thought about Wade being in battle and thinking about what he had to do to try and save his own men. So, nothing we can do in this short thirty minutes is going to be worse than that," says Shelby Adams, who turned out to try the Memorial Day workout.

The pain and struggle is real. These men and women are giving all of their effort for one man who gave all of his.

Friends of Sergeant Wilson were in College Station to support those working out for Wade.
