Hundreds of trick-or-treaters were out this evening celebrating Halloween in style.
In Navasota hundreds of kids dressed in all sorts of costumes taking part in a Halloween event called 'Trunk-r-Treat' outside The First Baptist Church. Kids and parents were going from that event right next door to the 11th annual 'Treats on the Streets' hosted by the Navasota Police Department. Parents we spoke with say these Halloween events are great alternative from taking their kids door to door.
"You don't have a lot of kids out roaming the streets and stuff, everything is right together. It's safe,” said Eric Houston, a Navasota resident.
The First United Methodist Church in downtown Bryan had their 6th annual ‘Trunk n Treat’. It’s a Halloween tradition that brings people from around the Brazos County to celebrate.
