A College Station Chinese restaurant was forced to closed its doors after failing an inspection from the Brazos County Health Department.

The Jin's Asian Café across from Texas A&M on Nagle was closed on December 9th after failing its health inspection with a score of 65. In all, inspectors from the Brazos County Health Department ran Jin's up for 10 separate infractions. Some of those infractions included fried rice not kept hot enough, food stored in grocery bags and a heavy amount of fruit flies by the drink station.

A general cleaning was recommended and even the restaurant grease trap was over flowing.

After a mandatory 24 hour closure, Jin's was able to open back up after passing another health inspection.

Of course you can get more scores off this week's report in the Restaurant Report Card on Thursday nights here on KBTX.
