Houston Man Sentenced for Shooting Estranged Girlfriend in Bryan

A Houston man was sentenced to 62 years in prison Friday by a Brazos County District Court jury for shooting his estranged girlfriend in Bryan during a July 2011 incident.

Court records indicate Quincy Butler, 33 was also sentenced in August to 13 year prison terms for convictions from Waller County. Butler was convicted for evading arrest and possession of a controlled substance.
