Hundreds of triathletes took part in the TRI Aggieland Sprint Triathlon.
The race started at 6 a.m. at the Texas A&M Recreation Center in College Station. It included a 400-meter snake-style swim in the world class Texas A & M Natatorium, followed by a 12-mile bike on traffic-controlled campus and College Station roads, and then a 5K run on paths meandering through Texas A&M campus.
Organizers say this year’s event was a success.
