Authorities say an 18-wheeler carrying motor oil rear-ended a flatbed semi-truck on I-45 near the Leon-Madison County line just after 6:15 a.m. Tuesday.
Due to the impact of the crash, the flat-bed semi truck began leaking diesel fuel into a drainage ditch. Meanwhile, officials say the other flat bed tanker truck began leaking motor oil across one lane of I-45.
TXDOT officials say I-45 in the area has been reopened after being reduced to one lane of traffic while a HAZMAT team cleaned up the scene.
One driver was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.
