As soon as Johnny Manziel was named the winner, a local sporting goods store ripped open boxes and started selling Heisman merchandise.

News 3 was there last night when the shirts were first laid out, and it didn't take long before there was a line of people curving throughout the store. Aggie fans around the area and from around the state hustled in to Academy to get their own exclusive Heisman shirts.

The store manager tells us that they pre-ordered over 1,000 Manziel Heisman shirts. Since the first shipment last night, the store manager said they sold a lot and they have about ten left as of Sunday night. The next shipment of Heisman shirts will arrive on Tuesday.
