It was a run for fun in Downtown Bryan Saturday morning at the third annual Junior League of Bryan-College Station 5k and 3k races.
A record number of runners and walkers had a sunny morning but a little bit on the chilly side too with many people bundled up.
The event raises money for Junior League service projects including the annual school supply drive.
"The Love Run is all about raising funds for our community projects that sponsor the youth. Continuing the Stuff The Bus project is our signature project," said Tyan Magruder, Junior League of Bryan-College Station event chair.
Nearly 400 people registered for this year's race including News 3's own Shane McAuliffe and Meredith Stancik.
The top 5k finishers were:
1. Gustavo Roman Jr. 16:24
2. Eric Jones 17:57
3. Jen Plair 19:58
