COLLEGE STATION A Killeen woman is in jail after a hotel manager suspected she was soliciting sex from her College Station hotel room.
Police arrested 48-year-old Rosalinda Ramoran Wilcox at the La Quinta Inn on Texas Avenue late Thursday night. According to police, the manager of the hotel received complaints about Wilcox. He called police after looking her up on a website known for prostitution and finding an ad with her name.
A College Station police officer then called the number from the ad and arranged for an undercover cop to meet up with her. According to the arrest report, Wilcox's ad contained several code words used by prostitutes online to disguise how much money they want for certain services. The undercover officer spoke to Wilcox on the phone. She told him that for a certain price he would be "fully satisfied." She also said that the more that he paid, the more that I would get in return.
Wilcox went as far as telling the undercover cop she had to be careful in what she said because she did not want to get arrested. She also asked with she was talking to a cop and instructed, over the phone, what to say so he wouldn't get arrested for soliciting.
When the undercover officer arrived at the Wilcox's hotel room, that's when she was arrested.
Wilcox is in the Brazos County Jail under $3,000 bond.
