“Kyle Field Day” Sunday To Connect Aggies With Community Needs

Texas A&M University students looking to serve the Bryan-College Station community will be able to connect to a wide variety of service opportunities from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday (April 15) at Kyle Field.

The event is sponsored by the Memorial Student Center’s Freshmen in Hosting and Service (MSC FISH), and organizers say “Kyle Field Day” is an opportunity for Aggies to actively participate in service projects that will benefit the Bryan/College Station community and beyond.

Students from campus organizations can visit booths ringed around the track at Kyle Field. Each booth is designed to help attendees learn about a general category of service projects. The booths will be organized into six main stations, with each group of organizations fitting into one of the set categories: global outreach, health/fitness and awareness, animal abuse prevention, youth outreach, environmental preservation and hunger and poverty.

Numerous fun-type activities are planned during the day, including field games and musical entertainment.

All activities at “Kyle Field Day” are free and open to the public.
