Local 9-1-1 District Gets New Leader

Brazos County has a new person in charge of 9-1-1.

Patrick Corley was announced Thursday as the executive director of the Brazos County 9-1-1 District. He replaces Betsy Godwin.

Corley has been the associate director of the district for six years, and has been part of it since 1998.

Certified as an Emergency Number Professional through the National Emergency Number Association, Corley will lead the district and its 50 employees. They are responsible for managing the 9-1-1 system and dispatching first responders for the county and the City of Bryan.
