Cinco De Mayo celebrations are going on all around the world and here in Brazos Valley.
At St. Teresa Catholic Church in Bryan, hundreds of people came out to enjoy food, drinks, local bands and even Hispanic dancers in authentic attire.
The event started at 11 a.m. and goes on until 10 p.m.
All proceeds benefit the church.
Cinco de Mayo, or the fifth of May, commemorates the Mexican army's 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War.
