Local law enforcement officers tried their hand at taking orders and waiting tables for a good cause at the College Station Texas Roadhouse.

Officers from the Bryan, College Station and Texas A&M Police Departments and the Brazos County Sheriff's Department along with the Department of Public Safety spent their night soliciting tips for the Special Olympics through their annual Tip-A-Cop fundraiser.

Last year they raised 7,000 dollars and this year their goal is to raise 10,000 dollars.

Law Enforcement officers will be at the Texas Roadhouse off of University from five-thirty to ten-thirty Wednesday and Thursday evening.
