Local Women Recognized for Supporting Prenatal Clinic

The 18th annual "You're the Tops Luncheon" was held Saturday afternoon at the College Station Hilton. A dozen women were recognized for their support of The Prenatal Clinic on South Texas Avenue in Bryan. The clinic's goal is to reduce the number of low birth weight infants and the rate of newborn mortality.

Thanks to the clinic's efforts, last year only 10 babies were delivered at area hospitals with no prenatal care. The clinic helped more than 600 women last year.
