'Lost Child' Truck Helped Out of Downtown Madisonville

This story comes to us from our News 3 Network partners at the Madisonville Meteor:

There was a "lost child" of sorts found in Madisonville's downtown square Wednesday afternoon.

A Canadian 18-wheeler named "Lost Child" was carrying a 16'2"-tall, 40-foot-long trailer through town.

The driver had missed the truck route off of Highway 90 and ended up downtown, which is not generally the best place to maneuver an electric station from Houston on its way to the western province of Alberta.

Police, city workers and TxDOT all had to help the driver back his way out of town and back to the route. It took about an hour.
