Man Killed in Brazos County ATV Accident

The Brazos County Sheriff's Office says a man has died after tipping the ATV he was driving.

It happened Monday afternoon near Highway 21, east of Kurten. That's between Bryan and Madisonville.

Sheriff's investigators say the victim is 78-year-old Morris Endler.

Authorities say Endler's wife came home after running errands and discovered the accident.

Investigators say it appears that Endler's ATV slid down an embankment next a small body of water on the property. Endler had already died when emergency responders arrived.

The accident is still under investigation. Authorities have ordered an autopsy.
