Man Stopped For Allegedly Driving Drunk Wrong Way on FM 2818

COLLEGE STATION A College Station man is in jail after police stopped him driving the wrong way on FM 2818.

22-year-old David Lee Wells, III, was stopped just after midnight Tuesday for allegedly driving while intoxicated. Police say he was headed east in the westbound lanes.

According the to the police report, when police stopped him they smelled alcohol on his breath and he had slurred speech.

He's currently in jail under $2,000 bond.
