Mayors Make Crosstown Showdown Baseball Bet

While it's getting serious on the diamond with the high school baseball regional series between Bryan High School and A&M Consolidated High School, it's also serious off the diamond.

The mayors of Bryan and College Station, Jason Bienski and Nancy Berry, were on WTAW radio Wednesday morning, and agreed to a friendly challenge.

The mayor of the city with the runner-up team in the three-game series will have to wear the winning school's t-shirt during a city council meeting.

If that wasn't enough, the city of the winners will have hot dogs and other ballpark fare served to them at a meeting by the losing mayor.
