Men and women of service may look different in uniforms, but they are all united by one common bond.

"It really means a lot to do what I can to help support the Bryan Fire Department and their families and friends needs," said Cole Gould, PHI Air Medical Pilot.

The flight crew of PHI Air Medical participated in today's memorial service. Some walked in the procession, while others took to the skies. Two P-H-I helicopters soared over thousands of people showing their respects to their injured and fallen brothers.
They say it's the least they can do for two fallen heroes.

"We are just showing honor to them," said PHI Flight Paramedic, Steven Von Gonten.

The crew aboard Air Med 12 said they work closely with Bryan Fire Department.

"They're our eyes on the ground. We couldn't do what we do without them," Von Gonten said.
