Montgomery County High Speed Chase Ends in Ditch

Two Montgomery County teenagers are in police custody after sending law enforcement on a high speed chase.

Police say the 15-year old and 17-year old had stolen a vehicle early Tuesday morning.

As they were driving in the vehicle a Montgomery County deputy..on a routine patrol got behind the vehicle...which caused the driver to panic and accelerate to speeds of up to 115 miles per hours down Highway 105.

The chase lasted for about 20 miles...and went through the city limits of Conroe, and through various backroads of Montgomery County, before it ended in a ditch near FM 1485.

Police say a tree stopped the vehicle from crashing through a fence and into hundreds of propane bottles stacked at an Amerigas plant.

As deputies approached the truck the two crawled out the back window and were taken into custody.
