Montgomery County Police Looking For Robber

Montgomery County Sheriff Office investigators are looking to identify a person who used a credit card taken during a robbery that happened last month in The Woodlands.

On January 13, 2013, around 2:00 in the afternoon, a 29 year-old women was walking in the area of Waterway Ave in The Woodlands when a suspect approached her with a handgun and took her purse. The suspect fled with the purse and got into an older model maroon van. There was a second suspect driving the van. The victim was not injured.

The suspect is believed to be between 20 and 30 years old and wore a grey jacket and dark pants: 5’7” black hair possibly Hispanic.

Investigators discovered that someone used a credit card that belonged to the victim shortly after the robbery at a Houston convenience store. Photos of the suspect were obtained by investigators and are attached.

If anyone can identify the person in the photographs or has information about this crime they should call Deputy Jason Hammons at 281-297-6500 at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office – Woodlands Substation.
