More Than $14,000 In Appliances Stolen From New College Station Homes

Thieves made off with loads of loot at a new neighborhood in College Station Friday.

Nine homes under construction were broken into on Old Ironsides Road and Gunner Trail in The Barracks subdivision.

Police say at least $14,000 worth of property was taken including refrigerators, microwaves, and even stoves from the homes still being finished out.

College Station Police believe several people were involved and they likely used a large vehicle to move the items.

"Officers, upon their arrival, they located multiple appliances that were removed from the residences," said Sergeant Roy Shelton of the College Station Police Department.

If you have any information on the case you are asked to call College Station Police at (979) 764-3600.
