On August 15th at approximately 6:59 PM officers with the College Station Police Department were dispatched to the 200 block of Dominik in reference to a major accident. Once on scene officers found that a collision occurred between a motorcycle and a Toyota passenger car.
Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that the motorcycle was travelling eastbound on Dominik. The Toyota was traveling westbound on Dominik and proceeded to turn south into a private drive. The Toyota turned into the path of the motorcycle and the motorcycle struck the Toyota’s right front quarter panel.
CSPD crash reconstruction was contacted and arrived at the scene. Parts of Dominik were temporarily closed for approximately 2 hours while officers conducted their investigation.
The operator of the motorcycle sustained injury and was transported to the College Station Medical Center for incapacitating injuries. The driver of the passenger car was not injured.
