Two motorcyclists have been taken to a hospital after police say their bike collided with a car at Rock Prairie Rd. and Rio Grande Blvd. Monday afternoon.
Police say a Chrysler Sebring was turning from the left turn lane at the same time the driver of the motorcycle went through the intersection. Police reports show both drivers claimed the light was green, and investigators are trying to determine who if anyone is at fault.
A 57 year old female passenger on the motorcycle was taken to the hospital for a serious leg injury. The driver of the motorcycle was transported as well, though his injuries were unknown. Both were wearing helmets.
No injuries were reported for the driver of the Chrysler. The intersection was closed for around two hours.
