Saturday's rain aided firefighters battling a large brush fire in Grimes County.

Emergency Management coordinator David Lilly says The Dogwood Gulch Fire is about 80 percent contained right now.

The fire started Friday afternoon and has burned more than 160 acres.

No homes are being threatened at this time and there are no reports of injuries.
