It's a sight homeowners at Nantucket Lake near College Station weren't expecting to see.
Nantucket Lake is so full water is now overflowing the spillway.
Just two days ago the lake was just a few inches from cresting over the top but Wednesday's rains filled the 33 acre lake up completely.
The lake has risen by more than 8 feet just this month.
"I mean it's almost incredible. We've gone from the lake being almost dry to where the lake is overfull now. It actually, the water's actually going in the overflow spillway coming out of there. And we're still getting more in there so what a dramatic difference this amount of rain been done for us," said Jim Maness, President of the homeowners association of the subdivision.
Jim Maness tells us it's been several years since the lake was to the point of overflowing.
