UPDATE Feb. 23, 2013

Since the deadly fire last Friday, friends and family of Bryan Fire Department have gotten together to sell shirts for the victims of the fire.

As of Saturday, nearly 3,000 shirts have been sold. This means approximately $45,000 has been raised for the four families directly affected by the fire.

A spokesman for the fundraiser says orders have come from across the country, including some from as far as California. He says they are trying to email every fire department in Texas to let them know about the fundraiser.

About 2,000 more shirts are being printed on Monday. Each shirt costs $20 each and $15 of each shirt will go directly to the four families of the Bryan Fire Department.

Despite the high demand, it is not too late to get a t-shirt. They will be selling shirts at Monograms & More in College Station this Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m and at Shipwreck Grill on Wednesday starting at 5 p.m.

Orders can be made online through a PayPal account: protectbfd.org
