No Injuries After Two Cars Crash On University Drive

A Plantersville family heading out of town for the weekend had to cancel their plans after their truck collided with an SUV.

The accident happened around 10:30 Saturday morning at University Drive and Glenhaven Drive when a GMC pickup crashed into the side of a Lexus SUV.

College Station Police tell us the driver of the Lexus was cited for failure to yield right of way when she attempted to make a left turn at the intersection when she had a yield signal.

The three people in the pickup escaped injury as well as the elderly driver in the SUV.

Across town Bryan Police report at least eight accidents have happened since Friday morning.

In College Station at least 21 wrecks have been reported in the last day and a half.
