The College Station Police Department has announced that Officer Trisha Ford has been promoted to Sergeant. Sergeant Ford was selected following a process that included a written examination, a rigorous assessment center, and an interview panel with department administration officials.
Sergeant Ford was hired as a police officer with the department in August 2005, graduated from the Basic Peace Officer Academy at TEEX and currently holds an Advanced Peace Officer Certificate. She has served as a patrol officer, field training officer, crime scene technician and is a two-time recipient of the Employee of the Month Award with the department.
She currently serves as an instructor at TEEX and is a Certified Cooper Institute Fitness Instructor. Sergeant Ford will be assigned to night-shift patrol and assume responsibility for 60 Beat.
