Sheriff's Office Investigating Montgomery County Bank Robbery

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division is investigating a Bank Robbery that occurred at the First Bank of Trust located on FM-1314 and I-59.

On May 15, 2012, at approximately 9:30 am, the Sheriff's Office received notification of the robbery and responded to the location. Upon arrival, Sheriff's Office personnel were informed that two black male suspects entered the bank and one of them demanded money while displaying a black semi-automatic handgun. While the suspect with the gun demanded money, the other suspect gathered the employees and had them move to a central location of the bank. The suspect with the gun was able to get an undetermined amount of money from a bank cash drawer.

Both suspects left the scene in a maroon four door passenger car which was recovered approximately one mile from the crime scene and was later confirmed to be a stolen vehicle
