PD: Kidnapping Suspect Linked to Armed Robbery

On Thursday 28-year old Ryan Zachary Drake was charged with 3 counts of felony evading, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and the kidnapping of a College Station Man. He has now been arrested for the robbery of Donal Donuts that happened on Wednesday.

On Friday Ryan Zachary Drake was served with a two count warrant for Aggravated Robbery. After a thorough investigation by the Bryan Police Criminal Investigation Division, enough evidence was obtained to arrest Drake for the Aggravated Robbery of Donald Donuts.

Evidence also linked Drake to a robbery that occurred on June 29th at 11:12am at Antiqueables located at 1301 South College Ave. During this robbery a male, now Identified as Ryan Drake, entered the store, displayed a firearm, and demanded money. Drake fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money and electronics in a vehicle.

Drake's bond is $100,000 for each count.

On July 3, 2013 at 8:15am a white male wearing all black entered the Donald Donuts located at 3308 E 29th St. The suspect displayed a firearm and left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported during this incident. It is early in the investigation and no further details are available at this time.
