Pedestrian Critically Injured at Bryan Intersection

BRYAN A man has been taken to a hospital, reportedly with critical injuries, after he was hit by a pickup truck Monday afternoon.

Bryan Police tell News 3's crew on the scene it happened around 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of William J. Bryan Parkway and Randolph Avenue.

The identity of the victim has not been released. He was taken to St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan and later flown to Scott and White Hospital in Temple. Police say he is expected to survive.

Investigators say the pickup truck driver was not at fault.
