College Station Police are searching for the driver of a car that hit a pedestrian crossing the street early Saturday morning.
According to CSPD, officers were called to George Bush Drive and Bizzell Street at around 3:15 a.m. where a person had been hit in the road. That person was transported to the College Station Medical Center for treatment. The extent of the person's injuries was not released.
Police believe a white, two-door, late model BMW was heading east on Bush when it hit the person, and then did not stop and continued east. Authorities searched the area, but to no avail.
CSPD would like to find the person who failed to stop and render aid in this incident. If you have any information, you're asked to call them at (979) 764-3600.
